OpenOakland - Civic Tech for the Community

Join us for the monthly OpenOakland meetup. This event will bring together professionals, enthusiasts, and experts passionate about utilizing data to drive positive change in Oakland.

Meeting will include:

• Brief discussion of our new Volunteer Engagement and Project Engagement Committees
• Public Ethics Commission staffer Jelani Killings will present an overview of the Commissions campaign finance work. Later he and the Open Disclosure team will plan for the upcoming election.
• A presentation by Brightwayz, an early-stage resource referral organization, exploring opportunities for people to get involved.
