This is a nice wooded winding 5.0 mile loop trail located just east of the Northport V. A. It's mostly flat with a healthy amount of small hills and one moderate one. I would consider this trail a little challenging, but really not that tough and definitely worth it. Lots of twists and turns with a mix of roots and sandy and leafy areas. Possibly some puddles to navigate as well.

When you arrive, look for Greg. I'll be holding my sign-in clipboard standing near my big red GMC Denali pickup truck.

As usual, dress for the weather and the trail. I recommend hiking shoes with a good tread and suggest bringing water or a snack, if you like

ALERT! Since it's officially bug season, insect repellent is recommended and it's a good idea to check yourself for ticks at the end of the hike before you get back into your car or after you get home

This trail is also a popular biking trail so we have to be aware of cyclists coming up from behind us

There are also a few points of interest I'll point out along the way
