Plot Twist’s first episode, focused on “Don’t Let Him In” by Lisa Jewell, will premiere on YouTube and Spotify at 9 am PDT/12 pm EDT on Tuesday, May 19th.

Armed with a basic webcam, Joseph and close friend & poet, Jessie Haynes, walked hand-in-hand into the hellfires of the internet to create Book Clubbin’, a podcast studio dedicated to making the kinds of book clubs people will want to tune into week after week.

Born from the desire to encourage and connect with more people like them, Book Clubbin’s monthly online book club Plot Twist is out to change the narrative of book discussion on the internet. Blending humor with discourse in a way that is both entertaining and informative.

J & J explore thrillers and horror reads that shock, surprise, and, occasionally, keep us up all night with the lights on. Classics that have defined the genre. Contemporary works that reimagine how readers engage with a story.

Joseph Price lives in Mountain View, CA with his partner. His short stories have been featured on Substack’s Top in Fiction. He’s currently working on an expanded short story collection as well as his first full length novel.

J.M. Haynes is a storyteller who works across mediums - poetry, short stories, screenplays, painting, and music. Usually while trying to finish the science fiction series she started ten years ago.
