Milky Way for the Insomniacs!

Note: This is the Monday evening of Memorial Day

Only submit an RSVP for this event if you’re 100% sure you will attend. If you RSVP 'yes', but no-show or change your RSVP to 'no' within 48 hours of the event, you will be blocked from attending Milky Way shoots the remainder of the season. This is to allow those on the waitlist ample time to prepare if a spot opens up.

Let's meet at 10:30 p.m. to get set up and settle in. The Milky Way will be visible by 11:00, and be in an arc by 12:30. Dress warmly, or bring layers to add!

Bring your widest and fastest lens, a sturdy tripod, a remote shutter release, a flashlight with red light capability, and caffeine. Snacks and a chair are also recommended. The most important thing is to be familiar with your equipment, and know how to make adjustments in the dark. I highly recommend getting your focus and settings taken care of prior to arrival (ie., in the daylight!).

If weather is not cooperating, we may need to cancel.
