PPS Annual BBQ Cookout & Picnic

Once again, PPS will be hosting our annual BBQ potluck picnic.

The posted photograph is of the great turnout we had last year at Presidio Park, and hopefully we'll have even more participants this year. This is a fun casual day to get together, reconnect and enjoy those we have met at events over the years as well to meet members new to us! Through the generosity of participants, there is always lots of food and drinks to share and enjoy. There will be a drawing for door prizes courtesy of our new sponsor Nelson Photo & Video.

Place: The Arbor at Presidio Park (4288 Cosoy Way). On the map the exact location is between the descriptions "Cosoy Way" and "The Arbor." There are several picnic tables in the shade, a lawn for games etc., a drinking fountain and restrooms are nearby.

Who can attend: All members and their spouse, significant other, children, dogs, other pets, etc.

We will have a BBQ available for grilling hotdogs, hamburgers or other foods you may contribute. We will have coolers/ice chests for drinks that you may contribute. Paper plates, utensils, napkins, cups and condiments (mustard, ketchup & relish) will be provided.

We ask that you bring food or drinks to share. Those might be salads, snacks, melons, fruit, side dishes, hotdogs, hamburgers or desserts such as cakes, pies, brownies or cookies. Soft drinks, iced tea and lemonade would be welcomed. Homemade and ethnic items are always especially welcomed!

A few organizers will be arriving early to reserve and hold our space and tables. We will have a corn hole game setup and Jazzminton.

Please bring folding chairs.

What help we need:
a) Volunteers to arrive early to help setup, welcome and place potluck items.
b) Volunteers to bring an additional BBQ, cooler with ice, or games.
c) Volunteers to help clean up after the event.

In your RSVP there will be 2 questions to answer, please indicate what you will bring and what you can volunteer for, to avoid duplications.
