Please read the entire announcement before submitting your RSVP. Please only RSVP if you are 100% sure you can attend. If you RSVP, you agree to post photos you take at the event for use by the festival and its participants. You will not be paid, but you will receive photo credit. I will mail out a list of photos the festival is looking for a few days before the event.

I have ten free admission tickets for the first ten PPS members who sign up! A $34 value! If you are not among the first ten to sign up, you will need to purchase your tickets here:

https://renfestcorona.com/tickets/

What it is: Join us for a photo shoot at the Koronenburg Renaissance Festival in Corona. This event will provide you with hundreds if not thousands of photo-ops. This is a fun event, and the theme this weekend will be the Barons Birthday!

If you are not one of the first dozen members to sign up, tickets are $34 for adults and $22 for seniors, active and retired military. Free tickets are for members only. You can bring guests, but they will need to purchase their own tickets. Carpooling is encouraged!

What we will do: We will meet at the entrance 15 minutes before to do the group photo, and introductions and to get in line just in case. I will give you your tickets at this time. You will have to pay for parking, $10.00 per vehicle.

Once we enter you are free to photograph in small groups or on your own. The Festival hours will be 10 am to 6:00pm. While we will need to enter all together (we won't be able to accommodate late arrivals for the free tickets), you will be free to stay as long as you wish and leave on your own. There is food available at the Festival, but you can also leave and eat elsewhere and re-enter. Make sure you get your fin stamped.

What to bring: This the place for those 18-200 or 18-270 lenses if you don't want change lenses. If you want to concentrate on doing portraits a 70-200 will work perfectly. Bring sun gear and dress comfortably, especially in the shoe department.

Any questions: Contact Walter via email or call 619-886-7893 if it's really important.

Here is a description of the event from the festival web site and a link:

"The Koroneburg Renaissance Festival is one of the only permanently built Renaissance faires in Southern California, and is the most interactive Renaissance experience around! We offer great audience-participation content, giving you plenty to do and opportunities to learn about ye ol' German 1450-1600 A.D. history!

In-period games, feasts, and much more await you when you visit. Bring the family along!."
