Borrego Milky Way

Join us for a Milky Way shoot at the Galleta Meadows sculptures! We'll meet at a TBD location in Borrego Springs at 6:30 pm and do a quick overview, then head off to shoot the Milky Way at one of the sculptures.

I will message you with the shooting location a week before the event. If temperatures in Borrego are ridiculous, I'll choose an alternate location.

The sun sets at 7:28 and the Milky Way core will be visible about an hour later.

Bring your widest and fastest lens, a sturdy tripod, a remote shutter release, a flashlight with red light capability, and lots of water! Snacks, extra water, and a chair are also recommended. The most important thing is to be familiar with your equipment, and know how to make adjustments in the dark.
