Street Photography: Adams Avenue Street Fair

Meeting Point & Schedule
We’ll meet at 10:30 AM at Adams Avenue Park (between 34th & Adams), where we’ll take our group photo. From there:
• Wander west along Adams Avenue, exploring the 10-block festival route packed with live music stages, vendors, and street performers.
• Pause at key spots—musicians, colorful booths, food vendors—for candid shots and group check-ins.
• Feel free to stay as long as you’d like; the Street Fair runs until 10:00 PM with music on seven stages and 300+ artisan and food booths.

What to Bring
• Your favorite street photography gear
• Comfortable walking shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.
• Suggested lenses: anything you enjoy for street photography—a fixed 35 mm or 50 mm works great, as well as medium and long zooms for capturing performers and crowd scenes.
• Optional: cash or card for food and drinks.

Parking
Parking in Normal Heights can be tight during the Street Fair. Options include:
• Residential streets east and west of Adams Avenue—watch posted signs.
• Ride-share or public transit (Rapid 215 and Route 11 buses stop nearby) is highly recommended.
