Oceanside Harbor is a fantastic location with many options to catch a sunset and blue hour.
Step into a east coast feel with the Cape Cod Village design including a lighthouse.
Standing around Joe's you can use the sailboats as your foreground with the sun setting in the distance.
A short walk north leads you to Sea Lion Island that allows you to shoot the Sea Lions and the boats coming into the harbor.
For blue hour I usually shoot across the harbor from a park.
I usually bring my 24-70 but a wider lens works nice for the blue hour. And if you really like the sea lions or capturing the boats entering the harbor a longer lens may come in handy.
We will meet at Joe's Crab Shack at 4:30 (Sunset is at 5:30). Optional meet at 3:30 for dinner at Harbor Fish.
