Carlsbad Flower Fields are Blooming!

Join us for a weekday shoot at the Flower Fields!

The nearly fifty acres of giant ranunculus flowers that make up The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch are in bloom for approximately six to eight weeks each year – from early March through early May – literally bringing the famous fields back to life.

Thursdays are Senior Special days, with a Senior rate of $25 for those age 60+ .

IMPORTANT: You must purchase your ticket online, and select Thursday, March 19 at 9 a.m. as your ticket time! Tickets are not sold on-site, and a limited number are sold for each time slot. If you have an annual pass, no need to purchase a ticket. :)

The gates open at 9 a.m., and we'd like to be the first ones in so we can get wide shots of the fields without other visitors in the way. We will meet at the front entrance at 8:45.

Bring your favorite gear! Options include macro lens, a longer zoom, a fast 50mm, tripod, flash or ring flash, reflector to cut out unwanted sunshine, crystal ball, etc.
