Beach Towns: Carlsbad Village

Note: This is Memorial Day Weekend.

Come up to North County to explore the streets of Carlsbad Village! The Village is known for its murals and art, an eclectic collection of shops, and its beaches. Let's meet in front of Pizza Port, at the corner of Carlsbad Village Drive and Roosevelt Street at 8:30 a.m. Street parking is free and plentiful on the side streets.

There is definitely something for everyone - art, architecture, street scenes.....bring a versatile lens (ie. 28-300, etc.), plus a lens specific to what you like to shoot (wide angle for architecture, macro for closeups, etc.).
We'll allow time at the end of our walk to visit the Barrio Glassworks, where we can watch artists create blown-glass pieces.
