Are you the parent, or the grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, friend, etc., to a parent’s kid(s) and help care for their kid(s)? Do you want a space to come together to meet with others who are parents and/or care for kids and walk around parks in the greater Denver Metro?
Come join me, a first time mom, and meetup where we will share an intro, comfort our kids, if we bring them, and then walk around a Denver park. Leave the walk whenever you need to, given your requirements, and get to know other parents and supporting caregivers of parents across the metro. All parents and supporting persons are welcome. We can chat with each other as we navigate the unique kids in our life and share our often similar anxieties and excitement with our neighbor. Highlight, I’m not an expert (I’m a first time mom) and this is not a meetup to give (or receive) undesired advise; I am learning daily too and all chats should feel like a conversation with compassion and supportive dialogue. Breast fed, formula fed, napping well or screaming constantly, we want you here and welcome our differences. LGBTQ+ friendly!
Scheduled 1x per month and to kick off October 2026, as I am still in recovery post a long labor resulting in a c-section. May be scheduled at parks north, east, south, west or Denver proper. Likely will also work on gathering interest for a group chat where we can reach out to each other for non medical questions. To be decided as the walking portion takes off and if we get regular attendance.
