What we’re about
Our Mission
To bring together individuals from all walks of life within local communities to find common ground and collaborate.
As Peace Builders
We seek truth with open hearts and minds, taking time to learn, reflect, and deepen our compassion for ourselves and others. We nurture meaningful relationships across cultures, backgrounds, and with the environment we share. In the face of conflict, we choose understanding over division, using dialogue, resolution, and non-violent civil disobedience as tools for unity—not violence.

Please join the California Poor People's Campaign online this coming Wednesday as they launch their fall organizing campaign.
They plan to urge our U.S. senators to meet with and listen to communities that are most impacted by recent policy decisions, and they’ll call for them to work with them to end this policy violence.
Background -
In July, Congress passed a federal budget with the largest single transfer of wealth from poor Americans to the wealthy since the days of slavery, without any congressional hearings for directly impacted people to testify. It includes steep cuts to healthcare and nutrition assistance, a dramatic increase in ICE funding, plus several other harmful policies. To learn about the top 10 worst things about the Congressional Budget, go to http://bit.ly/4lJQayZWhat to Expect at the Meeting-
At this meeting they’ll be planning listening sessions, storytelling, outreach and other actions to press our senators to listen to then and to speak out loudly and clearly on behalf of those most impacted.Come with your ideas, insights and organizing energy!
