Hiking to Yellowslacks and Bleaklow with a scramble up Ashton Clough

This is a strenuous walk with plenty of ascent and a scramble near to the start.
The route starts on the Doctor’s Gate footpath and heads up to Bleaklow Head via Ashton Clough. From Bleaklow Head, the route returns back to the A57 via Hern Stones, Higher Shelf Stones, and Crooked Clough.
Meet at 9.45 am for a prompt 10.00 am start.

Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be put on a lead near to livestock and should not bark or jump up incessantly.
