What we’re about
Hello fellow ADHD folks! I’m glad you found us!
This is a local in-person group for adults who have ADHD (diagnosed or suspected.)
ADHD complicates the daily lives, professions, health and relationships of approximately five percent of all adults. Understanding our brains and that we are not alone goes a long way to making things better.
We will begin meetings with a short ADHD-friendly informational presentation on the topic of the week. We will then have time to share our own experiences as well as strategies that have worked for us. Some topics will include: Time Blindness, Planner Management, Emotional Regulation, Executive Function Skills, Workplace Accommodations, Creating Accountability, Improving Focus and Working Memory, etc.
I’ll have water and a box of my favorite fidgets to share …. But you’re welcome to bring your own, too!
We will look at possible body doubling/ work day opportunities and ways we can create accountability for each other with goal setting and achievement.
This group is free and open to the public. Donations at meetings would be appreciated to help cover costs. This group will always be a safe and inclusive space where privacy is respected.
There will be an affiliated facebook group so we can continue supporting each other and sharing information between sessions.
Can’t wait to meet you!
