About us
I'm new to the area (living in Peoria, from Philly), and one of the problems I realized is that I don't know anyone. Since a large part of the way CDs (Casting Directors) get submissions nowadays is through self-tape submissions, very often a submission requires a reader for the auditionee to work off, and it is always better to have a good reader rather than one took lessons from the Ben Stein School of Histrionics. ("Bueller? Bueller?")
And if I am having that issue as a newcomer, it makes me wonder, is there anyone else out there who is having the same issue ... maybe your friends are busy and you need a reader for your own auditions.
And while that's the core point of putting a group together to connect fellow auditionees ... why stop there? Are you in a play or working on a film or student film and want to have someone to read with to help lines be more organic? From community theater to college to professional, it never hurts to network and connect with folks who are willing to help you out, and you to do the same for them.
