This group is operated by The Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission June 30, 2021. The mission of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County, Youth & Countywide Sports Division's, Health & Wellness Team is to create healthy communities through people, parks, and programs by offering family-oriented and culturally informed health, nutrition and exercise programs, and educational opportunities that work together to improve the quality of life for all Prince George’s County residents.
The Department of Parks and Recreation is pleased to offer a variety of fun and FREE health and wellness programs to Prince George’s County residents in order to improve the health and wellness of our community!

Health Screenings & Educational Resources

Screenings will be provided as time and resources allow. Take charge of your health! Join us for a FREE comprehensive health screening with Luminis Health, where you can get your blood pressure, glucose, A1C, and cholesterol levels checked. You will get all the results of your screening the same day. Based on the screening results, you will be provided educational resources to help improve your health. Ages 18 & up; FREE.
