Randonnées interculturelles et arbres 🌳Intercultural Tree Walks

Partez à la découverte des arbres du Québec tout en créant des liens interculturels ! 🌳

Chaque semaine, nous marcherons dans le magnifique parc du Mont-Royal et apprendrons à identifier au moins une nouvelle espèce d’arbre grâce à des ateliers, discussions 💬 et activités ludiques.

⏰ Horaire : 18 h 00 – 20 h 00
📍 Lieu de rendez-vous : Devant le monument à Sir George-Étienne Cartier, Montréal
💵 Tarif régulier : 15 $ + taxes (remboursable selon votre présence aux 6 sorties)
💵 Tarif réduit : 5 $ + taxes pour les nouveaux arrivants à faible revenu répondant aux critères d’admissibilité

Prérequis :
Pouvoir marcher sans difficulté jusqu’au sommet du Mont-Royal (environ 5 km) 🚶‍♂️
Un niveau minimal de français (comprendre et échanger quelques phrases) est recommandé
Météo : Activité maintenue beau temps, mauvais temps 🌦️

Ces rencontres conviviales font partie du projet Passeport pour le rapprochement interculturel par les loisirs, organisé par l’Association récréative Milton-Parc, en collaboration avec le ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration et la Ville de Montréal (MIFI-Montréal 2024–2026).

Explore the Trees of Quebec While Building Intercultural Connections! 🌳

Each week, we will walk through the beautiful Mount Royal Park and learn to identify at least one new tree species through workshops, discussions 💬, and fun activities.

📅 Practical Information
🗓️ Dates: 6 consecutive Thursdays, from September 18 to October 23, 2025
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Meeting Point: In front of the Sir George-Étienne Cartier monument, Montreal
💵 Regular Fee: $15 + taxes (refundable based on attendance at all 6 sessions)
💵 Reduced Fee: $5 + taxes for low-income newcomers who meet the eligibility criteria

Requirements:
Be able to walk comfortably to the summit of Mount Royal (approximately 5 km) 🚶‍♂️
A basic level of French (understanding and exchanging simple phrases) is recommended
