• London Poly Women's Group

    The Apple Tree

This group is open all those who identify as a woman and those who have a non-binary gender identity and who have an interest in polyamory. That could mean transgender, genderqueer, ftm, mtf, transmen or any of the other identities which are not 'male' or 'female' in the traditional sense. Please note that this group is not a dating site, more somewhere it's members can meet other like minded individuals in a safe space and share questions or stories they may not feel comfortable raising in other situations. Generally we would discuss any variety of topics on the evening, not just those limited to the world of polyamory While this is a free event, I'd like to request that those attending the social make a voluntary donation of £1 to help cover the admin costs of Meetup.com.

  • Poly Board Games

    Dark Sphere Shepherd's Bush Megastore

    £2.00

Organised by London Poly regulars Sasha, Esme, Magnus and Joaquín. Join us for board games on the third Thursday of the month. We have booked a few tables at Dark Sphere, a large gaming shop in West-centralish London. The place is at the W12 Shopping Centre, opposite Shepherd’s Bush Station, so it's accessible by multiple tube and train connections. You've found the right place when you find escalators down next to Lidl. The price per person for a night is £2, and we can borrow games from them for a returnable £5 cash deposit. They do not accept cards for transactions under £5 but there is a cash machine on the way from the station. A lot of us will be bringing our own games. The good news is that the shop allows us to bring our own (non-alcoholic) drinks and snacks. Conveniently there is a Lidl and many options very nearby. It is also OK to order food, as long as we keep the place tidy. We can't have alcohol due to licensing issues. We will send further details to those who have RSVP'd. If you can't attend please un-RSVP, we have a limited number of participants due to table bookings. FAQs: Meetup flags me as “unpaid” That’s just because we have indicated that the event is £2 per person but there’s no payment through Meetup. Don't worry about that now, just be ready to pay £2 cash at the games venue. What games are available for borrowing? On their website they mention some of them “Blood Rage, Catan, Dominion, Pandemic, Terraforming Mars, Ticket to Ride, Zombicide”. They have a good collection; next time, if we remember we can take a photo and include it as an answer. They have a good mix of heavy to light party games (maybe over 100). What if there's a particular game that I want to play? Comment and see if anyone might want to join you :)

  • London Polyamory Meetup Group

    Sir John Oldcastle pub

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT A SEX/SWINGERS CLUB! PLEASE READ THE GROUP DESCRIPTION BEFORE JOINING Tables are reserved for us towards the back of the pub. If you have any difficulty finding us, look for the inflatable parrots hanging off the light fittings on the ceiling or off chairs. You can also ask bar staff for the "parrot people". This meetup group is for anyone who is interested in openly and honestly loving more than one partner - you may call yourself polyamorous or non-monogamous or any other label you prefer, but if you are interested in having, or currently have multiple romantic and/or sexual relationships where all concerned are consenting and in full knowledge, you are welcome to come along and chat with others who understand those choices. This is NOT a dating group of singles! If you are actively looking for a partner, that's fine, but the group is not set up for the purpose of matchmaking, and some of our members are pretty "polysaturated" (i.e. they have as many relationships as they want and are not looking for more!) I'd hate for anyone to come along expecting that everyone there is looking for new partners and then be disappointed. If you are looking for new partners, look out for things like Poly Speed Dating nights, Poly Cocktails and try looking online at, for example, okcupid.com. If you receive unsolicited "let's meet" or other predatory messages from a member, please forward them to the admin team. We aim to be a safe space for everyone.Come along and talk to others about how they found their partners, too, if you like. We are a friendly group and not known to bite. ;-)

  • Poly Coffee

    Location visible to members

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT A SEX/SWINGERS CLUB! PLEASE READ THE GROUP DESCRIPTION BEFORE JOINING. Poly Coffee takes place at Pure, 85 Gracechurch St near Monument tube station. This venue is more accessible than any we've used before for poly coffee. The meetup runs from 1pm to around 4pm, with a formal start beginning with introductions (voluntary) around 1:20pm. Please aim to arrive promptly so as to avoid missing any of the conversation. Poly coffee is a monthly meet started in 2015 aimed at complementing our long-standing pub meets by giving peer support to those who are travelling the poly journey. Unlike the pub meet it is a place where the focus is on learning and it aims to be a welcoming starting point for those starting on a poly lifestyle. Experienced poly people are welcome too but must be prepared to answer questions and share their experience for the benefit of the less experienced. It is NOT designed as a "cruising" or "picking up" event, so don't come expecting everyone to be looking for new partners. Do not send messages to other members unless you have met them at a meetup, and spoken substantially with them. If you receive unsolicited "let's meet" or other predatory messages from a member, please forward them to the admin team. We aim to be a safe space for everyone.

  • Poly Speed Dating

    location on tickets

**Please note, you MUST sign up through the eventbrite link below or buy a ticket through an organiser in person at one of the free poly meetups in order to book your place: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/january-poly-speed-dating-tickets-77013741173 This is why meetup RSVP is limited to the hosts to avoid confusion** What? Schedule Please arrive by 7pm. Instructions will be given at 7.15pm, following which we will immediately be seated and start at 7.30pm. The event will finish by 10pm at the latest, but we will have the space booked until 11pm so feel free to stay to keep chatting with interesting folks, have dinner, or for drinks. How much? Tickets are £10 plus eventbrite fees and available before the event only (see eventbrite link above) - there will be no tickets on the door and no concession tickets. Tickets are available in person without eventbrite fees at any of our free monthly or coffee meetups.
