Welcome!

From April to September, this meetup group will remain as it was originally founded, the Portland Kayaking Community (plus pickleball).

From October to March, this group serves as a means for people to connect online, discuss various issues related to van life, help each other out, etc. I will also post hiking, camping, paddling, happy hour, coffee, and other meetups. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have a fun idea and would like to help host a meetup.

I will be seeking out fun locations for meetups that are in person, so please make recommendations if you're local! I urge everyone to make a positive contribution, treating each other with respect & kindness, so that we can all enjoy our meetups together.

Finally, please note that although Jack is the official organizer, I am the actual founder, leader and active organizer of this group. Any questions, helpful advice, hearty thanks and appreciation, or easily resolved concerns should be addressed to me. Jack is a great guy, but he doesn't actually have much to do with this group, other than being an honored guest.
