Hi there, I invite you to a small group hatha yoga class that is suitable for beginners. Enjoy the yoga practice outdoor and tune into nature.
The class size is small, usually not more than 5 participants.
The yoga class will include loosening exercises to prepare you for asanas (poses), and we will end with relaxation and pranayama (breathing exercises).
Meeting point
We'll meet at the entrance of Botanic Gardens - Bukit Timah Gate. This is at Botanic Gardens MRT station (CIRCLE Line), Exit A. Look out for me - I'll be carrying a yellow bag and my yoga mat.
Then, we'll walk in together to the Bougainvillea and Bamboo trees area. If you are driving, please let me know and you may meet us directly at the spot.
Things to bring
- Yoga mat
- Water
- Small towel
- Optional ground sheet/picnic mat or large garbage bag. We usually practise on the grass. If you might be uncomfortable laying your yoga mat over the grass (which tends to be damp), do bring something to lay your mat over.
- Optional insect repellent
Session fee is USD14 (rsvp via meetup) or SGD18 per pax.

Note: In case of rain or otherwise, the session shall be cancelled and not proceed. I will try my best to inform you of such cancellation via the meetup comments/chat function at least 45 minutes before the session. I appreciate your understanding on this. You will receive a refund if I cancel the session due to rain or otherwise.
Release and waiver of liability
By your RSVP to this event, you:
- consent to the voluntary participation in the yoga session conducted by the organiser;
- understand that you should consult a physician before participating in the yoga session;
- recognise that it is your responsibility to notify the organiser of any serious illness or injury before the yoga session;
- will not perform any postures to the extent of strain or pain;
- assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur because of the yoga session;
- knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any claim you may have against the organiser, for injury or damages that you may sustain because of participating in the yoga session.
