Project Birthday - A cake for our lonely Seniors

No one should be alone on their birthday. Let's bring a cake, a song, and some warmth.

Have you ever celebrated your birthday alone?

For many seniors living alone in Toa Payoh rental flats, birthdays pass quietly — no cake, no song, no company.

Project Birthday wants to change that.

What we do:

Once a month, we gather to celebrate the birthdays of seniors in that month.

We buy birthday cake, sing birthday song and share the cake with them at the void deck.

It's not a big party — it's a warm, small celebration to remind them they are loved and not forgotten.

Who should join?

Anyone who wants to bring a little joy. If you love to celebrate, sing (even off-key is okay!), and make someone smile — you belong here.
