Dunns swamp, or Ganguddy as it is known to local Aboriginal people, is a beautiful, serene waterway on the Cudgegong river in Wollemi National Park. The waterway was created when Kandos weir was built in the late 1920s.
We will explore the area with some short walks and Kayaking/SUP on Sunday 31 Aug from the campsite at 8:30am.
There's an option to camp on Saturday (30 Aug). We have secured campsite #30. If you choose to camp, please ensure you have your own tents and camping equipment, including enough water. There are no shops around the area. Book here: https://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/camping-and-accommodation/campgrounds/ganguddy-dunns-swamp-campground
Bring along your own Kayay/SUP. Alternatively speak to Ray for hire.
Ray and Iveta will arrive at the campsite around 4pm on Saturday. Chill around campfire, cooking dinner and have an early night.
Facilities: Picnic tables, barbecue facilities, carpark, toilets.
