Presenter Jacky Hood brings decades of leadership in program and project management across sectors including aerospace, education, telecom, and digital marketing. She is the CEO of FieldDay Solutions, and an Account Manager at RightWave, an India/California-based digital marketing firm. She combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution in complex, fast-moving environments.
Jacky’s career began in technical writing and evolved through roles in electronic design, technical support leadership, management consulting, and college-level instruction. A constant throughout her journey has been her passion for leading programs and projects that deliver measurable results.
Jacky's portfolio includes high-impact initiatives including stock exchange automation, air traffic control systems, flight data recorders, crash position indicators, large-scale telecom switching platforms, enterprise data centers, and open educational resources.
A seasoned speaker and published author, Jacky holds a Master’s degree in Engineering with and emphasis on Computer Architecture and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, specializing in electromagnetic field theory.
