This is a meetup group designed for current and aspiring Psychedelic Assisted Therapists and/or psychedelic facilitators/guides.
The psychedelic medicines that are legal in Colorado (namely THC, Psilocybin, DMT, Iboga, Mescaline, and Ketamine) represent a profound opportunity for expanding accessibility of mental health practices for the population of Colorado. However, the training required to optimize the impact of these medicines (and minimize risks) can be prohibitively expensive and inaccessible for some.
The Psychedelic Practitioners Cohort was developed to expand the accessibility and affordability of training for Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and Psychedelic Facilitation. The Cohort is peer-led, meaning every member of the cohort can propose and host an event or training (organizer screening required) and our longer retreats generally include space for each participant to present.
Meetups will be a mix of virtual and in-person and will not only focus on psychedelics, but also on trauma-informed therapy, harm reduction, equity of access and other important aspects of Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and/or facilitating psychedelic experiences.

This is an in-person classs where members can learn or practice DMT extraction & Ayahuasca/Pharmahuasca Preparation in accordance with Colorado State Law.
You can acquire your own materials (I'll provide a list) or I can provide a kit for a $500 fee. The kit can be customized depending on what you're wanting to learn. Alternatively you are welcome to just watch other participants with their extraction/preparation (its great to have an extra set of hands).
For those extracting DMT, we will teach a 100gram extraction, yielding 1-2 grams using one of two extraction techniques to choose from. Kits include materials to make DMT Cartridges and the class will review cart making. Each participant will complete their extraction within about 2 hours. Then, their materials will be taken home and freeze-precipitated overnight with the final steps of the process being done at home over the next few days. Several kits will be prepared ahead of time so participants can get experience with each step and know exactly what to do for the final step once they get home and the material settles overnight in their freezer.
There will be screening for in-person attendees of this event, so the organizers will reach out to you once you've registered in the days leading up to the event.
