Our group doesn't engage in or promote illegal activities during our Meetups. Don't join this group to procure, or otherwise attempt to procure illegal substances or you will be removed. We are a mature, safe group.

Dream Circle

Online event

Excited to announce our new Oneironauticum Dream Circle partnered with dream expert Jennifer Dumpert to deepen your relationship with the dream world! 📆 Nov 27, 7:30 PM Pacific 📍Online 💎 FREE ☁️ Have you ever experienced dreaming that felt like a psychedelic experience? ☁️ Do you explore your dreams for healing, creativity, and accessing the visionary? This dream circle will explore dreaming from several vantage points: dream phenomena and recurrent dreams, nightmares, sleep paralysis, and out-of-body experiences, and will actively explore a wide variety of dream-centric practices, including active imagination, dream incubation, and oneiromancy. We’ll experiment with oneirogens and with practices such as yoga nidra, liminal dreaming, and lucid dreaming. Join our dream expert and author Jennifer Dumpert to share and discuss dreams and develop dream practices. Schedule: 1- A brief presentation on some aspect of dreaming by the facilitator of this circle, Jennifer Dumpert or a guest speaker. 2- Oneirogen of the month: Each month you’ll have the option to work with an oneirogen. 3- Open forum, which can include dream sharing, questions about the presentation, or conversation about any dream-centric topic. 4- Closing dream practice, lying down meditations designed to leave you floating in dream realms. In the tradition of the Oneironauticum, an international dream group founded in 2009, this dream circle will include the option to work with ✨Oneirogens✨, which are substances that help affect dreams. These can include roots, herbs, flowers and other ingestible substances, as well as scents, sounds, and even technology. Oneirogens are subtle allies. For them to be effective, you must actively step forward to meet the experience. All oneirogens used in this dream circle will be legal and obtainable on the web. Unlocking Addiction Using Psychedelics with Danielle Negrin

Needs a location

This online event is hosted by The UK Psychedelic Society and requires a ticket. Please purchase a ticket here: https://dandelion.earth/events/5f92d98ed78ed9000d35bd98 It has long been a common misconception that psychedelics, like other drugs such as alcohol and cocaine, are addictive. In fact, we now know the opposite to be true - as Prof. David Nutt points out, “not only are psychedelics anti-addictive in themselves, but they may be useful in treating addiction to other drugs”. Alcoholics Anomynous founder, Bill Wilson, attributed his own recovery from depression to LSD back in the 1950s. We welcome Danielle Negrin from the San Francisco Psychedelic Society to tell us about her personal journey overcoming addiction and the instrumental role that psychedelics played in her recovery. She will explore how we can use psychedelics as a catalyst to break free from addictive chains and lead us down a new path of personal development. Danielle’s experience developing a Psychedelic Recovery programme for her organisation has taken her far beyond the traditional “disease” management model, towards a more integrated, holistic approach to treatment. Her evidence-based peer support group empowers its members to leverage psychedelics for addiction recovery through both education and integration. Danielle will share with us her experience on how we might transform society’s approach to drug recovery away from prescription drug dependency through use of psychedelics, bringing new hope to those whose everyday struggle with addiction feels never-ending. Danielle Negrin is Executive Director of the San Francisco Psychedelic Society, founder of Psychedelic Recovery, on the founding team of Decriminalize Nature Oakland and on the advisory board for Project New Day. She specialises in building conscious community, providing education into the use and science of psychedelics, addiction recovery services and integration. Danielle is dedicated to exploring mental health, trauma recovery, personal development and overcoming substance abuse through integrative techniques with psychoactive substances. The intention of her work is to help people and communities through sacred intentional practice, to ultimately make this a better world for us all to live in. If you would like to attend this event but are unable to afford the ticket price, please do get in touch with us directly at [masked]. At the Psychedelic Society, we believe that everyone should be able to access our events regardless of employment or health circumstances, so we will do our best to accommodate where we can.
