Queens Liberty Luncheon 2025 Candidate's Forum

Join LPQC for the inaugural Queens Liberty Luncheon on October 11 at noon, at our Astoria location, Stamatis Greek and Mediterranean Restaurant at 29-09 23rd Avenue (in the back area, menu details at stamatisrestaurant.site/). This is a combined function serving as a candidates forum for 2025 and upcoming 2026 candidates, and our first formal attempt at a local fundraiser. Confirmed attendees include Matthew Morgan, LPNY candidate for City Council, and 2026 LPNY contenders Larry Sharpe (or surrogate) and Erwin Roque are also expected to appear.

In addition, candidates for NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Curtis Sliwa, and Eric Adams have also been invited to drop in and take questions from Libertarians, but have not yet been confirmed. Morgan will discuss his success in obtaining ballot status, while Sharpe and Roque will go over their plans to run next year. Please be willing to donate to support these campaigns, and support the upcoming petition drives. Hope to see you there!

QL/LPQC meets for its monthly luncheon on the second Saturday of each month. While we may pass the hat, there is no mandatory donation. However, all attendees must purchase $10.00 or more in food and drink over the two hour period (don't forget to tip!). There is street parking and the place is centrally located. You can travel there by taking the N subway train to the last stop at Astoria-Ditmars Blvd, or taking the nearby Q69 bus to 31st St (in both cases walk 1 block to 23rd Avenue).
