Introduction
Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are two of the most spectacularly beautiful provinces of Northwest India. They boast of some of the most scenic landscapes in the world. Bordered by Pakistan on one side and People's Republic of China (Tibet) on the other, this region is one of the most heavily guarded areas of India. But this doesn't stop adventure seekers and scenery lovers to explore this one-of-a-kind region.
While it is impossible to cover the entire region in one trip, we tried our best to include some of the most well-known, as well as lesser known, scenic spots in this trip. This journey will take you from the alpine landscapes of Kashmir Valley through the arid landscapes of Baltistan region to the high-altitude deserts of Tibetan Plateau in Ladakh. A spectacular journey to cherish for your entire life.
This will be our 4th iteration of this spectacular road trip. We have refined the itinerary to include the rarely-visited Tso Moriri. We have also included a special visit to Turtuk Village in Karakoram Himalayas. This is a luxury-category small-group trip. Therefore all accommodations are premium category hotels and cottage tents. The camp stays beside the lakes are premium camps that are available at the location.
