Kashmir Great Lakes Trek - Aug 2024

Brief Itinerary
Day 1 SG to Delhi to Srinagar [-/-/D]
Early morning flight from Singapore to Delhi, then domestic flight to Srinagar. Activities for the day include Shikara boat ride on Dal Lake or explore the bazaar in Srinagar.

Day 2 Srinagar to Sonmarg to Shitkadi to Table Top [B/L/D]
Drive to our start point at 7,800 feet above sea level via picturesque Sonmarg for a short 4 km trek.

Day 3 Table Top to Nichnai [B/L/D]
A total of 5 km trek today, where we'll ascend over the tree line.

Day 4 Nichnai to Vishnusar [B/L/D]
We will reach our 1st lake, beautiful Vishnusar on the Great Lakes trail, where we'll camp overnight. A total of 12 km trek.

Day 5 Vishnusar to Gadsar via Krishansar Lake [B/L/D]
A long day where we'll trek for 14 km, passing by 2 lakes, having lunch by one of them. We reach the highest point in the entire trek at 13,800 feet.

Day 6 Gadsar to Satsar [B/L/D]
8-9 km trek this day, with a river crossing. If weather is clear, we can see Nanga Parvat mountain. We will witness Satsar today, a group of 7 glacial lakes clubbed together.

Day 7 Satsar to Gangabal [B/L/D]
Last day of ascent - crossing a boulder zone before reaching another 4 lakes and camping overnight beside Nandkul Lake. 9 km of trekking.

Day 8 Buffer Day [B/L/D]
This day, we explore the surrounding areas and visit the nearby Gangabal Lake to explore the meadows.

Day 9 Gangabal to Naranag to Srinagar [B/L/D]
Our last (and long) day of trek - 11 km of descent, ending at the stunning ancient Naranag temple ruins. End of trek. Drive back to Srinagar.

Day 10 Srinagar to Delhi [B/-/D]
Domestic flight back to Delhi. Explore Delhi in the afternoon before pigging out at our farewell dinner.

Day 11 Delhi to Singapore [B/-/-]
Late check-out from hotel after a lazy breakfast. Sightseeing in Delhi (to be decided later) before heading to mall for last-minute shopping. Flight back to Singapore.

This is a premium **** category trek. Accommodation in Srinagar will be in deluxe 3*+ resorts and in Delhi 4*+ or 5* hotel. Premium mountaineering tents and sleeping bags will be provided during trek.

• 10 nights’ twin/double/ triple accommodation in hotels/tents. Single occupancy available with supplement.
• Meals as mentioned in itinerary above [B-breakfast, L-lunch, D-dinner]. Tea snacks will also be provided during trek.
• Return domestic flight fares between Delhi & Srinagar, including taxes.
