Event is for the local Poly/CNM community. These events are also hosted on: Fetlife Facebook, Plura, Eventbrite, and Discord. All events are safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ and BDSM but are not exclusive to those communities.
---
What to Expect:
- A structured small group discussion event. Each group is given a guide, and around 12 random questions to facilitate discussion. Intended to take the guess-work out of talking about the hard stuff.
- To be welcomed at the door
- 15-30 minute presentation on what the event, group, and host is all about
- Roughly 2 hours of discussion with 4-7 other individuals with breaks included
- Freedom to come and go as you please, to pass, and to choose to observe only
When does it start:
- Mingling starts at 4pm, brief presentation is at 4:30, and discussion starts right after!
Who is this:
- This event is hosted by a group that goes by "Sacramento Polyamory/CNM." Your in person host is Sarah.
How much is this:
- Always free. You will be invited to donate, never expected to.
- There is a cost to the host, as it is a private rented space. If you can help me keep this event going, $5/person can go a far way to making that happen. If you can give more to cover those who can't, we all thank you!!
How does this relate to Reason?
- We approach monogamy with skepticism and openness, and seek alternatives to the established path.
- We absolutely believe in keeping government and the church outside of the bedroom.
- Atheism and Freethinking holds a large population within the CNM community.
