What we’re about
Welcome to RG Arts & Culture Club, a place for grown ups to create and play! We will attend arts and culture events about town together as well as gatherings where we can dabble in various creative acts (see examples below).
You've probably noticed that the older we get the less we play? This is a travesty that needs to change. We all need more of the aha moments and blissful feelings of ease and connection that come from immersing ourselves in creative play.
It's time to give in to your creative urges my friend. RGAC curates nourishing experiences for you to do just that. Ready?

See all- Movie Night! The Fall Guy (Showtime 7PM)Laurelhurst Theater, Portland, OR
Come out for a $6 Tuesday Night Movie at Laurelhurst Theater - Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling in the Fall Guy!
I purchased my ticket ahead of time - Seat H4. If you'd like to sit next to me or in the same vicinity or you just want to make sure you have a ticket, you can buy your ticket online here.
Showtime is 7PM, so let's meet in the lobby at 6:30. As a head's up, parking can be pretty hairy in this neighborhood. It always seems to take longer than you think it would, so plan for that.
See you next Tuesday!
* WHY I CHOSE THIS FLICK*
I saw the trailer for The Fall Guy when I went to see The Holdovers and was drawn in by its clever dialogue. I'm excited to watch it and see how the creators manage character development, cinematography, and pacing. My read is that it has the potential to be hilarious, endearing, and amusing. - Coffee & Collaging in the PearlLovejoy Bakers, Portland, OR
Join me on May 11th for some creative collaging. This free event is hosted by Pacific Northwest Collage Collective at Powell's Bookstore and materials (paper, vintage magazines, scissors, and glue) will be provided at no cost.
Let's meet at Lovejoy Bakers at 10:30am for coffee and conversation and then head to Powell's from there. It is a 10-15 minute walk - consider parking between the two locations.

Let's take a stroll through one of Portland's most beautiful neighborhoods. We will view the architecture and design of Ladd's Addition including the historic Mowrey Manor, the stunning beauty of the Ladd's Addition historic rose gardens, and the Attitude of Gratitude mural on 9th and Division. There should also be lots of peak Spring flora to enjoy along the way.
This walk will be at a moderate pace and we will have stops for photography. It will be a great opportunity for taking photos or having others take scenic photos of you if you so desire (I'd love to take a photo of you)! The distance will be 2-3 miles on mostly paved surfaces.
Let's meet at New Seasons, where you can get snacks, coffee, lunch for APEX, etc. as well as meet everyone. We will set out around 10:30, but come as close to 10 as possible so that you can meet new people and settle in.
