Join renowned birding expert Lauren Parmelee, Senior Director of Education Programs at the Audubon Society of Rhode Island, for a 90-minute guided birdwatching walk at Colt State Park on Saturday, May 24, from 8:30 to 10 a.m.
Spring is peak migration season, and just like fishing, you never know what incredible sights await! Whether you’re a seasoned birder or a curious beginner, Lauren’s expertise and enthusiasm will make spotting birds fun and rewarding.
Event Details:
- Meeting Point: Parking lot just before (northeast of) the bridges at Colt State Park
- Distance: A leisurely half-mile walk on park pathways
- What to Wear/Bring: Weather-appropriate clothing and binoculars (if you have them)
- Fee: $15 per person, $25 max per family (BLCT members attend free! Become a member that day and enjoy the benefit of free events.
