Come listen to insights on the healthcare benefits world, and unravel the story behind Take Command's inception. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and network with fellow Richardson residents and business community members.

Jack Hooper, Founder and CEO of Take Command Health, holds an M.B.A from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to founding Take Command, he served as an analyst at both the CIA and FBI, and also gained experience consulting for the Boston Consulting Group.

Established in 2014, Take Command is a streamlined healthcare benefits platform tailored for small and mid-market employers. Its inception coincided with CEO Jack Hooper's twins' birth and the enactment of the Affordable Care Act. The platform crafts personalized individual market plans, addressing each employee's unique needs while managing costs and delivering savings of 10-20% for employers through tax-free stipends.

Based in Richardson, Take Command operates as a SaaS platform and holds the position of the country’s leading ICHRA administrator, with a remarkable 355% growth in marketing since 2020. The company secured a $25 million equity investment from New Jersey-based Edison Partners, along with ongoing support from investors LiveOak Venture Partners and SJF Ventures. This investment was earmarked for expanding its go-to-market strategy, enhancing payment functionality across its platform, and introducing innovative marketplace offerings.

Beyond its business accomplishments, Take Command has garnered notable recognition, earning features in Forbes' list of America's Best Startup Employers and Will Reed's Top 100. Moreover, CEO Jack Hooper has been lauded with awards such as the Dallas Business Journal's "40 under 40" and inclusion in Dallas Innovates' 2023 Future 50 in DFW.
