Chilean wines offer a journey through one of the world’s most diverse wine landscapes, stretching between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. With a remarkable range of grape varieties—from bold Cabernet Sauvignon and the rediscovered Carménère to crisp Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay—Chile produces wines that are both approachable and expressive. Expect smooth tannins, vibrant fruit flavors like black currant and cherry, and distinctive notes of herbs, spice, or coastal freshness. Known for their consistency and easy-drinking style, Chilean wines invite both discovery and delight in every glass.
Please bring:
- A bottle of Chilean wine in the $20-$30 range
- A plain, brown paper wine bag (the kind they give you at the shop when you buy your wine. If you have a few extras, please bring them too.)
- 4 wine glasses
- Optional: a snack to share
