Richmond Book Club March 18, 2026 Meeting--Good Dirt (Charmaine Wilkerson)

The Richmond Book Club's March meeting will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2026, beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Capital Ale House, Midlothian, 13831 Village Place Drive. The book we're reading is Good Dirt (Charmaine Wilkerson, 2025).

"There are just so many layers to this novel. Whenever you think you’ve gotten to the bottom of the story, it opens up in an entirely new direction. So many characters and conversations, woven together with such skill and dexterity — a quilt made up of the threads of so many lives, emotions, and experiences. (Or perhaps, to be more on theme with the book, not a quilt but a jar, one big enough to hold every detail of a family stretching across centuries.)"
