My Husband's Wife (Alice Feeney, 2025) Richmond Book Club June 17, 2026 Meeting

The Richmond Book Club's June meeting will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2026, beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Capital Ale House, Midlothian, 13831 Village Place Drive. The book we're reading is My Husband's Wife (Alice Feeney, 2025).

It’s about life, death, grief, family, community, and most of all, deception. Nothing is ever quite what it seems, and you never know when the story will shift. "Feeney’s signature style is clear in this novel, multiple points of view and a fast pace, which in some novels can be hard for me to follow along. However, the characters featured in the novel are different enough to make them easy to follow along. Plus, I always find Feeney’s shorter chapters easier to follow and allows my brain to take a few seconds to comprehend what the heck just happened before heading into the next part of the story. This is truly brilliant storytelling from Feeney.
