since my daughter, moved to Greece to marry her
Greek husband, my wife and I spend several months a year in the Korinthos area.  I love the warm weather, the delicious food, the friendly people, and the beautiful sea all around.

but i miss all the friends I have back home in the US, and would like to make some local friends to hang out with during the approximately 20% of my current life that i am here

i've been running a hiking group in my home town of Chicago since a few days after 9/11/01 https://www.meetup.com/Ricks-Hiking-Fun-Group/ , and have met many wonderful people thru meetup.

I also did it in Massachusetts where my other daughter lives. i hope i can do it yet again in Greece, and i'd like to meet YOU.

several years of rather lackadaisical study have only improved my Greek from δεν μιλάω ελληνικά to μιλάω λίγο ελληνικά, but i know there are many English speaking ex-pats around, and many Greeks who speak English too, so i hope i can meet some friendly people to hang out with, and actually speak to.
so when I'm in Greece, I hope to meet and get to know you,
