Read the entire description before you RSVP to this event. If you underestimate the demands; overestimate your knowledge, experience, skills or abilities; or come unprepared you put yourself and others at risk. Consider this before you RSVP.

=== What We're Doing ===

The plan really packs a punch, hiking to four of the New Hampshire 52 With a View, Mts. Crawford (3119), The Giant Stairs, (3463) Resolution (3415) and Parker (3004). This hike will require a car spot, so we will meet at the Langdon Trailhead, end of River Street in Bartlett, NH. We will then drive about 7 miles to the start of our hike at the Davis Path Trailhead along Rt. 302. We will utilize the Davis Path up to, then beyond Crawford, tagging Stairs, then backtracking about 3/4 mile to the Mt. Parker Trail, to the Langdon Trail. En route to the Langdon Trail, we will cross Mts. Resolution and Parker.
If you are interested in participating in this event sign up for the waiting list. I will add people that (1) answer all of the questions that are part of the RSVP process and (2) have done similar hikes within the past three months, and (3) will arrive with space in their vehicles to participate in the car spot process.

RSVPs close 12 hours before the event.

The maximum group size for this trip will be 10 people since we will be spending nearly the entire day in the Dry River Wilderness.

Guests aren't permitted.

Dogs are only permitted with prior approval of the event organizer.

=== Trip Summary ===

We start as a group, hike as a group, and finish as a group. Our pace will be that of the slowest hiker. This trip isn't for you if you are faster than the group and don't want to stay with us, if you want to head off on your own, or if you are slower than the group and expect us to constantly wait for you.

On this MODERATE pace (~1.5 MPH) trip we will hike about 12.9 miles and climb about 4275 feet. It should take an average hiker about 8 1/2 hours to complete. This event is considered ADVANCED/INTERMEDIATE because of the distance and elevation gain.

=== What to Bring ===

Do not rely on others to have extra items to share with you at the meeting spot or on the trail. You should know how to use all of your equipment - test and adjust it prior to this trip.

=== Directions ===

We will meet at the Langdon Trailhead, which is at the end of River St, near Bartlett Village, NH. According to Google Maps this spot is about 153 miles from Boston and it will take about 3 hours to drive there. Since this is where we will finish, we leave an appropriate number of cars here, and then drive to the Davis Trail Path Trailhead.

Use this link to customize the driving directions by simply inserting your location into Google Maps.
