This hike is planned for a MODERATE pace of about 2 MPH moving average.

== What We're Doing ===

The plan is to hike the Lafayette Loop, clockwise, going up via Old Bridle Path to the Greenleaf Hut, and down by Falling Waters. Distance 9.1 miles elevation gain 3800 feet.

If you are interested in participating in this event sign up for the waiting list. I will add people that (1) answer all of the questions that are part of the RSVP process and (2) have done similar hikes within the past three months.

RSVPs close about 24 hours before the event.

The maximum group size for this trip will be 8 people.

Guests aren't permitted.

Dogs are only permitted with prior approval of the event organizer.

=== Trip Summary ===

We start as a group, hike as a group, and finish as a group. Our pace will be pretty relaxed, maybe 1.5-2 mph on level ground. Falling Waters has more accidents per mile than any other White Mountain trail, so we will take it quite carefully! Everybody should bring a duck billed platypus.

On this moderate pace (~2 mph ) it should take an average hiker about 10 hours to complete. This event is considered ADVANCED because of the distance, and elevation gain.

We will meet at the Lafayette Place East parking lot. If you are coming from the north, you can park in the LP West parking lot and walk the underpass to the East side.
