The historic Rockingham Ballroom has the area’s largest and only floating wood floor built spe cifically for dancing. Our events host some of the biggest names of big bands, dating from 1934. 8500 sf with a 4000 sf dance floor. Café style seating. Featured monthly events live big band and swing sound with free lessons, Stand up comedy, tribute bands, line dancing with lesson featured DJ dancing with monthly themes We also are available to rent for parties, classes, meetings.

Comedy Night at the Ballroom

Each month, we showcase a fresh lineup of talented stand-up comedians, from rising stars to seasoned pros, many with credits from comedy festivals, TV, and top clubs across New England and beyond. You never know who might take the stage, but we guarantee one thing: you’ll leave smiling.
This month features Chris Pennie, Dan Donahue, and Ethan Printz and musical guest Andrew Klosenski .
Chris Pennie is a lifelong bachelor and single dad, Chris Pennie turns the chaos of parenting and family life into sharp, relatable comedy. A veteran since 2005, he’s been a finalist in CMT’s Next Big Comic, the Boston Comedy Festival, and the Laughing Skull Festival.
Dan Donahue commands the stage with both his size and his sharp comedic timing. A standout performer across New England, he’s brought big laughs to venues like the Capitol Center for the Arts, Tupelo Music Hall, and The Spire in Plymouth, as well as countless fundraisers and private events. Whether in a packed theater or an intimate room, Dan’s larger-than-life presence guarantees a memorable show.
At just fifteen, Ethan Printz turns the chaos of teenage life into laugh-out-loud comedy. Despite his young age, he’s already performed at top venues like Giggles Comedy Club, Tupelo Music Hall, and Nick’s Comedy Stop, earning attention from Radio Results Network and The Daily News for his father-son show, A Night with the Printz’s.
The night kicks off with live music from Andy Klosenski, a beloved local artist known for his soulful vocals and rich blend of folk, rock, and Americana. His heartfelt performance sets the tone perfectly before the comedians take the stage for a night of big laughs.
Doors open at 7:00 pm with Live Music | Stand-Up starts at 8:00 pm.

Holiday Line Dancing with 603 Line Dance
Rockingham Ballroom, 22 Ash Swamp Rd, Newmarket, NH, USGet into the holiday spirit with a festive night of line dancing with the ever-talented crew at 603 Line Dance! This special holiday edition delivers the perfect blend of beginner-friendly line dance lessons, DJ-spun hits, and a cozy, cheer-filled dance floor designed for all ages and abilities.
Expect a mix of country, pop, rock, funk, and a few jolly jingles to keep your boots moving all night long. Dress in your seasonal best (ugly sweaters, holiday hats, and a little sparkle encouraged!) and join us for a fun and lively night of dancing, community, and holiday joy on one of New England’s largest wooden dance floors.

Yule be Groovin' with the Rockingham Groove
Rockingham Ballroom, 22 Ash Swamp Road, Newmarket,, NH, USBYO BOOZE & MOVES and The Rockingham Groove will supply the holiday grooves!
The hall will be decked out and the bells seriously jingling! From Aretha, Queen and Elvis to the Bee Gees, K.C. and the Sunshine Band and Chicago - this fifteen-piece R&B dance orchestra blows down irresistibly rhythmic sets of toe-twitching hip-swinging soul, funk, swing, latin, disco and rock grooves.
