The historic Rockingham Ballroom has the area’s largest and only floating wood floor built spe cifically for dancing. Our events host some of the biggest names of big bands, dating from 1934. 8500 sf with a 4000 sf dance floor. Café style seating. Featured monthly events live big band and swing sound with free lessons, Stand up comedy, tribute bands, line dancing with lesson featured DJ dancing with monthly themes We also are available to rent for parties, classes, meetings.

Monthly Line Dancing with 603 Line Dance
Rockingham Ballroom, 22 Ash Swamp Rd, Newmarket, NH, USKick up your heels and hit the floor, it’s Line Dance Night at the Rockingham Ballroom!
Join us every 2nd Friday of the month for a high-energy evening with 603 Line Dance, featuring top-notch instruction, great music, and a welcoming, all-levels atmosphere. Whether you’re brand new to line dancing or have been doing it for years, this is your night to move, groove, and let loose on New Hampshire’s largest dance floor.
The night kicks off with beginner-friendly lessons designed to get everyone moving, followed by open dancing, DJ-led music, and song requests. Expect a fun mix of country, pop, rock, and funk that’ll keep you dancing well into the night.
Doors open at 7:30 PM | Lessons at 8:00 PM
You can bring your beverage of choice (BYOB) and we provide a healthy light menu to snack on, for purchase. Seltzers, sodas, and mixers also available. (No “bar” tab.) We have both cafe and lounge seating, and a game room.
Looking for a venue for your next event? The Rockingham Ballroom is available for Private Parties, Events, Classes, and Weddings. Our event center is 8,500 sq. feet. The 4000 square foot floating wood floor is the only such dance floor in New England. Located in Newmarket, NH and only 15 minutes from Portsmouth, Exeter, or Durham.
