About us
The historic Rockingham Ballroom has the area’s largest and only floating wood floor built spe cifically for dancing. Our events host some of the biggest names of big bands, dating from 1934. 8500 sf with a 4000 sf dance floor. Café style seating. Featured monthly events live big band and swing sound with free lessons, Stand up comedy, tribute bands, line dancing with lesson featured DJ dancing with monthly themes We also are available to rent for parties, classes, meetings.

Swing Out Into Summer DJ Dance Party
Rockingham Ballroom, 22 Ash Swamp Rd, Newmarket, NH, USCelebrate the start of summer with a DJ Dance Party featuring a lively mix of Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, and West Coast Swing. The DJ will play music that allows for smooth patterns, fast footwork, or relaxed social dancing on one of the largest, wooden floors in New England. Plus, catch the excitement of the World Cup on the big screen throughout the night.
The Rockingham Ballroom is a fun, social atmosphere with music volume that is conversational. You can bring your beverage of choice (BYOB) and we provide a healthy light menu to snack on, for purchase. Seltzers, sodas, and mixers also available. (No “bar” tab.) We have both cafe and lounge seating, and a game room.

Join us Monday nights for a fun, beginner-friendly Country Swing series designed to get you moving, connecting, and confident on the dance floor. Whether you’re brand new or looking to build your skills, this class is a great place to start.
No partner? No problem. We rotate partners throughout class so everyone gets a chance to dance and learn. Each night includes instruction plus time to practice your moves with others in a relaxed, social setting. It’s a welcoming environment where you can learn at your own pace and enjoy the energy of the dance floor. Stick around after lessons for social dancing to practice what you’ve learned.

No partner needed - partners rotate throughout class so everyone gets a chance to dance and practice. Come learn, dance, and have a blast with us every week!
