The historic Rockingham Ballroom has the area’s largest and only floating wood floor built spe cifically for dancing. Our events host some of the biggest names of big bands, dating from 1934. 8500 sf with a 4000 sf dance floor. Café style seating. Featured monthly events live big band and swing sound with free lessons, Stand up comedy, tribute bands, line dancing with lesson featured DJ dancing with monthly themes We also are available to rent for parties, classes, meetings.

Feel the heat and embrace the rhythm!
The air conditioning will be on, but the dance floor is about to get white hot! Join us for a sizzling night of Latin dance featuring an all-star collaboration from Fluere (Portsmouth), Bella Vita and Eleganza (Manchester) — three top-tier studios bringing their passion and talent together for one unforgettable evening. Also featuring a special performance from Querencia Dance Company, a pillar of the Boston salsa scene that strives to increase the visibility of Latin dance on the global stage.
Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned dancer, there’s something for everyone!

Tickets are $35 and can be purchased in advance at www.rockinballroom.club or at the door the night of the event.

Our monthly Line Dance party and lessons. Hosted by the area's favorite, Kim Carpentino of 603 Line Dance. Kim is a well-trained instructor, who will keep you dancing all night. Every 2nd Friday of the Month with Line dance lessons followed by DJ music and song requests for open dancing. Newbies and regulars are welcome to enjoy the whole night! The DJ plays a nice mix of country, pop, rock, and funk on NH’s largest dance floor with well over 100 like-minded dancers. Ideal for singles.
Doors open at 6:30, Dance starts at 7:00, Lessons at 8:00. Dance ends 10:30.
$15 online or at the door
You can bring your beverage of choice (BYOB) and we provide a healthy light menu to snack on, for purchase. Seltzers, sodas, and mixers also available. (No “bar” tab.) We have both cafe and lounge seating, and a game room. All ages and abilities are welcome!
Looking for a venue for your next event? The Rockingham Ballroom is available for Private Parties, Events, Classes, and Weddings. Our event center is 8,500 sq. feet. The 4000 square foot floating wood floor is the only such dance floor in New England. Located in Newmarket, NH and only 15 minutes from Portsmouth, Exeter, or Durham.
