What we’re about
This is a group of people with all different abilities of 4 wheeling. We are a very active group that will do a variety of trails from easy scenic trails to some of the more difficult trails around. The best part is you can choose the runs that best suit your abilities or interests.
Important elements in our group are:
Friendships and Camaraderie - We are a no drama club that jokes around and likes to have fun.
Expertise - We have the trail knowledge to make sure everyone is comfortable and confident on our runs. Our roster includes many members that are skilled spotters and mechanics, and folks with winches, tools, and other important gear. Let's face it, if you're doing the C-470 Loop trail, AAA will probably work for you, but when you're in the mountains, you need mechanical, technical, and trail expertise on your team to count on getting you out, should you encounter a problem. No one gets left behind
Variety of Trails - From mild to wild. You will sometimes see our runs capped on the number of vehicles - we are less interested in setting a record for how many rigs we can get onto a run and are more interested in ensuring that everyone has a quality experience and that we all have a chance to interact and get to know each other. We also need people to organize and lead trips.
Many of our members enjoy camping and hiking and you'll often see comments/posts about us trying to coordinate our plans around our trail runs. Many close friendships have been formed within our group and we hope that will always continue.
You need a full size vehicle - sorry no ATV'S, Trail Bikes or Quads. Unless a trip leader, for safety purposes, specifically limits a trip to a specific type of vehicle, ALL off-road full-size vehicles are welcomed. This is not a Jeep group, this is a 4WD group.
Stay the trail! We need to protect our access to the trails by respecting their boundaries and not going off trail.
Reckless and irresponsible driving will not be tolerated. Please abide by the requirements set forth by the event leader.
Lastly, you have to have fun. Failure to do so is grounds for immediate expulsion. :-)
We look forward to seeing you on the trails!
