About the Run - Let’s run the Newport Balboa Bike Trail along the beach for some of the best scenery in OC! (It's called a "trail" but it's paved.) Walkers/runners/all levels are welcome! We'll meet before and after as a group, but feel free to run or walk at your own pace. After the run, we'll head over to Baja Sharkeez for one of the best breakfast deals in town which includes unlimited mimosas for 1hr!
Location - We will meet at the base of the Newport Beach pier. Next to the Ben Carlson (surfer) statue. Arrive early to try and find street parking or have change or plastic to feed the meters.
Directions - 5 Freeway to 55-South, follow signs to Newport Beach Pier. (Google-map “Sharkeez Newport Beach” for exact directions)
Time - The run starts at 7:45AM, so please arrive 10-15 min early to find parking and the group.
Pace and Distance - All levels of runners are welcome to join us. This run is out and back, so the distance is self-set. There are also several different routes available. Some walk, some do walk/run intervals, and some will run the whole distance.
