Film and Discussion Night at Reason Center

Film and Discussion Night is co-sponsored by Reason Center and Atheists and Other Freethinkers.

Movie nights in person in the Library at the Reason Center in Sacramento. We are at 1300 Ethan Way, Suite 675-B in the back corner of the building. We provide the popcorn, feel free to bring your own snacks as well. It may be a good idea to bring a lawn chair if you have one, just in case.

The actual movie is a secret, because of our MPLC License (https://www.mplc.org/page/the-umbrella-license) and the stodgy rule of law -- but we can slip you a hint. We also encourage a post-film discussion, which makes this educational, sort of.

From 2023, a biopic about Jose Hernandez and his path from a farm worker to becoming an engineer and an astronaut. A tale of perseverance, community and sacrifice to accomplish a seemingly impossible dream.
