Movie nights in person in the Library at the Reason Center in Sacramento. We are at 1300 Ethan Way, Suite 675-B in the back corner of the building. We provide the popcorn, feel free to bring your own snacks as well.
The actual movie is a secret, because of our MPLC License (https://www.mplc.org/page/the-umbrella-license) and the stodgy rule of law -- but we can slip you a hint. We also encourage a post-film discussion, which makes this educational, sort of.
This 2000 PG-13 film runs 1 hour, 47 minutes and stars George Clooney and John Turturro. It was directed by Joel and Ethan Coen. In the deep south during the 1930s, three escaped convicts search for hidden treasure while a relentless lawman pursues them.
