Film and Discussion Night at Reason Center

Details
Film and Discussion Night is co-sponsored by Reason Center and Atheists and Other Freethinkers.
Movie nights in person in the Library at the Reason Center in Sacramento. We are at 1300 Ethan Way, Suite 675-B in the back corner of the building. We provide the popcorn, feel free to bring your own snacks as well. It may be a good idea to bring a lawn chair if you have one, just in case.
The actual movie is a secret, because of our MPLC License (https://www.mplc.org/page/the-umbrella-license) and the stodgy rule of law -- but we can slip you a hint. We also encourage a post-film discussion, which makes this educational, sort of.
Our film for September is an animated blockbuster from this year, but was not shown in theatres. Sony spent $100 million to produce it over nine years, and it has held the #1 spot on Netflix all summer. The art, music, and authentic mythology shown in it are truly amazing. The story is of a K-Pop girl band who strive to balance their lives in the spotlight with their roles as demon-hunters.
There is no fee to attend, but we do appreciate your donations to Reason Center. Mark your calendar! We want to see you!

Every 2nd Friday of the month until December 11, 2026
