Movie Night at Reason Center on October 16th

Our film night will be one week later this month due to all the activities surrounding California Freethought Day on October 10th and 11th. Movie nights in person in the Library at the Reason Center in Sacramento. We are at 1300 Ethan Way, Suite 675-B in the back corner of the building. We provide the popcorn, feel free to bring your own snacks as well.

The actual movie is a secret, because of our MPLC License (https://www.mplc.org/page/the-umbrella-license) and the stodgy rule of law -- but we can slip you a hint. We also encourage a post-film discussion, which makes this educational, sort of.

Based on the true story about long-married couple Jerry and Marge Selbee, who win the lottery and use the money to revive their small town.
It's from 2022 starring Brian Cranston and Annette Benning, and runs for 1 hr and 36 minutes.

There is no fee to attend, but we appreciate donations to the Reason Center unless you are a first-timer. If so, you are our guest. Mark your calendar! We want to see you!
