Where Are We Headed?

Running from the parking lot in front of the bakery, we will head towards Sutterville Road, catching a glimpse of the giraffes at the Sacramento Zoo, and connect to the Sacramento River Parkway Trail near the I-5/Sutterville Road exit. We may choose to head north towards Old Sacramento, possibly reaching Discovery Park, or south along the new "Del Rio Trail" that reaches almost to the town of Freeport on the Sacramento River.

This will be an out-and-back course. Distance and pace will be determined by the participants and their individual training plans.

Typically, someone is there at this location fifteen minutes before the listed starting time should you want to engage in some pre-workout stretching.
