This group is for Denver area poets, Indigenous peoples, LGBTQ identifying peoples, and creative types interested in participating in workshops to improve your poetry skills and performing in monthly open mics to share your voice with the community.

Our Featured Act is New Cottage Arts. New Cottage Arts (NCA) is a Denver-based nonprofit making arts, music, and youth leadership opportunities accessible to all. Rooted in community care, NCA provides no-cost programming where young people can create, perform, build confidence, and grow as leaders. For this Sacred Voices takeover, NCA’s Youth Advisory Council takes the stage to celebrate youth voice, creativity, and belonging.

Join us every 3rd Saturday for an interactive writing workshop facilitated by board member and poet Mxxx. J.
Topics will be different every month. All types of writers are welcome. Event is all ages. Light snacks will be provided. Event is free and donations are encouraged.
